MightyText – Get Your Text Messages on Your Desktop

This morning, I found one of the most useful apps I’ve ever discovered. Ever wish you could check your text messages on your computer rather than have to stop what you’re doing and pick up your phone to check or reply to them? The MightyText app makes it possible to do just that, but it doesn’t stop there.

Once you install the app on your phone and add it to your browser on your desktop (I use Chrome), you can access it from an icon in your browser toolbar. The interface on the desktop is beautiful and completely intuitive. Beyond checking and sending text messages, you can set it up to sync your photos and videos and even organize them from your computer.

It offers a host of other features. You can get call notifications, check your remaining phone battery, edit photos and easily manage several conversations at the same time. I don’t know why I didn’t look for something like this sooner! Give it a try, you’ll wonder how you ever got by without it.
